Wayne Tresierra – Medication Isn’t Always The Answer
My fear is that if it keeps going that way, that you’re going to wind up with a lot of children in school that are exhibiting a lot of behaviors that might come across as mental health. Then what do they do with them? They medicate them. They medicate them. Instead of stopping for a minute and just trying to figure out where this child is, often it’s because that child hasn’t had that loving, caring, nurturing time that they have to have with the parent. And not just the parent, that support system, that underneath support system grandparents, aunts, uncles, a teacher possibly, somebody that’s going to reign that child in and take that time just to be with that child.
