Marina Del Rey Hospital – Dr. David Isaacs
Hi! My name is David Isaacs!
And I’m a plastic and reconstructive surgeon for the eye and the face. We treat patients with orbital disease, we treat patients with lachrymal disease, we do cosmetic surgeries and we do a lot of reconstructive
and functional procedures as well. My practice is a blend of cosmetics and functional
and reconstructive procedures. The procedures that I perform,
cosmetics, are limited to the face. I perform forehead lifts,
endoscopic forehead and brow lifts, upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, facelifts,
necklifts, rhinoplasties, otoplasty and I’m actually the course director
for the first fat grafting course hosted by The American Academy of Ophthalmology this year. What I like best about what I do is taking care of patients!
And that’s probably the reason I do what I do. I love my specialty!
I sort of got into it in a roundabout fashion. Initially I really liked ophthalmology
and I fell in love with it and that was my, that was my specialty! And then i fell in love with plastic surgery
and so I completed fellowships in that and so that sort of blend that I have now allows me to do
what I love for for my patients. And I really like taking care patients! I like operating at Marina Del Rey Hospital
because the staff is really an A team! I think that it’s very important
to be able to communicate with your staff to have a productive working environment,
an efficient working environment and that’s something that I really
have found here at Marina Del Rey Hospital. I think the leadership has done
a great job in providing that for the physicians and there’s a lot of respect between the different aspects
of health care providers here.
