Health First Colorado: Physical Benefits

Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) is your partner in health. As a member you can get the medical care you need to be healthy. The best way to get medical care is with your Primary Care Provider. Your PCP is a doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, clinic or other
provider that helps you stay healthy. Your PCP will get to know you, your medical history and your health goals. Your Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) coverage starts right away and covers services that are determined medically necessary by a doctor or nurse. Some of your Health First Colorado physical health, vision and prescription benefits include: Emergency room and urgent care visits
Women’s health services, including family planning, home health, hospice, inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care, inpatient and outpatient speech, physical and occupational therapy, lab and radiology primary care provider and specialist visits, and prescription drugs and Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
