Bon Jovi – Bad Medicine – cover – Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Hey guys welcome back again to Ken
Tamplin Vocal Academy where the proof is in the singing.
I got a lot of requests from people asking me hey Ken what happened to Jon
Bon Jovi’s voice. Well it’s true Jon has been struggling with some vocal issues
and I have a singing course called How to Sing Better than Anyone Else and I
walk you through step by step how to take good care of your voice over time.
I wish Jon had taken better care of his voice because he wouldn’t be
experiencing the same issues that he’s having right now but to pay homage to
Jon and in tribute to him I decided to go ahead and record about six Bon Jovi
songs of what I would have done differently a. had I sung the songs and
singing in the same basically the same age I think he’s almost two years older
than me or something like that. We’re around the same age and I am 55 and I’ve
never sung better but it’s because I know how to take good care of my voice
and I work it out every day like you’re supposed to. So with that said let’s rock,
here some Jon Bon Jovi. Hey guys if you like what you heard
please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to my channel by clicking on the SUBSCRIBE button. That will actually take you to another page where you want to click on the Bell icon
and it opens up a menu and the menu has notifications on it where there’s a
little box you can check, where it says send me all notifications for this
channel. Check the box and then click the SAVE button and you’ll get notifications
from me, every time I have a cool video come out. Okay thanks guys. Peace out.

  1. Great cover but let's get serious here Jon bon Jovi has sang his heart out for more the 30 years performing all over the world think your voice would suffer a little bit 2 ken

  2. Awesome job. I wonder what it would sound like with less distortion. Your voice is nice with / without it. I so want to practice to develop my voice. I will not sing if l have throat issues. Thank you for validating that! Rock on, Ken! โœŒ๏ธ๐ŸคŸ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿค“

  3. OOUH YEAAHH !!! Bravo Ken Otra vez lo has vuelto a hacer, los pelos de punta๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ”a ver si puedes hacer un cover o anรกlisis del tema THE LรNE del grupo Axel Rudi Pell y su cantante.Saludos Ken๐Ÿ’ƒ

  4. Great job Ken. I would love to see a vocal battle between you and Joacim Cans of Hammerfall man that would be epic.

  5. Sooooo much better, I like richie sambora but not jon, I never did. Bon jovi had a thin voice, it's the "I wanna be a rock star voice", not a singers voice. I wonder how many other songs you can convince me, aren't so bad, with a different take on it. A Ken Tamplin cover tune album would be worth the $!!! I only sang originals until I found this channel. Now I have over 100 covers on my list. They did not as much change, but supported my original work.

  6. Good Song!!! Awesome job Ken:) Too bad Jon can no longer hit higher notes (like Runaway) sometimes he wonโ€™t even sing the whole song all the way through in concert.
    Happy Saturday Ken!!!

  7. It's easier to sing "cuz your love is a drug!" Than "cuz your kiss is a drug!" Cuz of the high ee vowel which is 10 fold harder to sing than the o vowel, which doesn't take almost any effort to sing, especially in high notes.

  8. actually, you do a hella of a job on this Ken, lol I temped it too with this one Ken https://soundcloud.com/stormbladeband/paige-stomblade-you-give-love-a-bad-name-bon-jovi-cover-redone I did it with a cold I did 2 version styles but now if I did it, I might have improved this was 3 years ago so yea.

  9. hello sir Ken…can you tell me the difference between The Course + Pro Packs & Gold Bundle…I'm really curios right now

  10. Perhaps my favorite Bon Jovi song of all time! Love how you negotiated that key change on verse 2. You are living proof that you can still sing amazingly even after several years at the grindstone!

  11. I couldn't hear some of the words in the original, but you're so clear that I didn't miss a thing in this version. Thanks, Ken ๐Ÿ˜

  12. WOW I felt like singing this song is like cup of tea for you. How relaxed you look. I wish if I could sing like you

  13. Thanks Ken! Excellent as always! Compared to Jon, you have more bottom end and fullness to my ear which makes your performance just that much better than the originals.

  14. Damn!
    Wow and wow!!
Got the whole HTSBTAE program, enjoying all the Youtube videos, listening to it all. But this was the icing of the cake, a totally brutal performance! Thanks!!

  15. I can't drive 55. Lol I am 49 so, we are about the same. Wow, so is he bearing down on his chords. Even when I sing this song in the car makes my throat hurt. I love that baratone. Good job! Have fun ken! Look forward to these๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜˜โœŒ๐Ÿค™

  16. Ken Rocking it out! Jon Bon Jovi hurt his voice in the 80โ€™s injecting steroids into his throat to keep going for the corporate machine. Ken do u think 35 plus years of almost nonstop touring has taken its toll on Jon? Heโ€™s rarely taken a break lol crazy

  17. I hope Bon Joviโ€™s your best fan. Because you are so better with your technical !!!!!!!! Please make a band with Richie ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Thanks for being willing to critique these artists – pointing out the mistakes, and providing advice on how to improve. All respect to John Bon Jovi:
However; It's more helpful to hear the opportunities – What is the singer doing well, and where are the opportunities for improvement.

I'm looking forward to hearing the other 5 videos.

    To quote The Tick;

"That's just the salve I need to sooth my burning itch!".

  19. Hands down your best cover yet. You rocked the hell out of that song Ken. That whole album New Jersey is classic. I think if I am not mistaken. It was recorded in Vancouver. So he is an honaray Candian ๐Ÿ˜„

  20. I totally thought this was the Die Mannequin song at first and was kinda surprised considering they aren't exactly all that well-known outside of Canada, even if that song probably was their biggest hit

  21. Ken Tamplin nails it again is there anything this dude can't sing! How do I get to your web sight how to sing better than anyone else is it a .com or a YouTube channel I don't know if you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful, thankyou.

  22. No doubt , but dont want the bad medicine , song rings true for to many people and it Jams too causing entice for dah bad , vocals are part of that entice for the bad. Bad Medicine Is What I Need , No I left that type long ago …

  23. AWESOME JOB YET AGAIN!!! You nailed each phase of the song. Your a true pro. I get the feeling you are just being yourself and your own personality shines through on each song you do. Really enjoyed this one Ken. God Bless.

  24. Love your singing. Have you ever really explained why you never really made it big in the industry? My take on it would be that it had nothing to do with your talent, but lack of star power or your quirkiness may turn some people off. I find you very real and refreshing, but the 80's was for bad ass frontman and attitude. Not an insult by the way.

  25. Absolutely smashed it Ken. I could hear every word you sung. This song is my 2nd go to Bon Jovi song (after Livin' on a prayer) when I need to pump myself up. Killed it sensei! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™

  26. Ken remember there is no shame of failing. ๐Ÿ˜œ I know extremely hard song to sing but give it a shot..if someone can do it is you.

  27. Ken, Iโ€™m ignorant on the subject but what about diagnosing and analyzing one of your own videos? Maybe this one? Just an idea! Good job!

  28. love this cover ken! i actually can understand every word, witch i dont get from the original. just shows how talented you are ๐Ÿ˜Š
