  1. What? I don't hear it all. In fact I think both bands have very different sounds. They may be part of the shoegaze but they sound nothing alike. If you want a MBV influenced band check out the Fleeting Joys.

  2. Considering the beat in this is your standard "hey i'm playing Funky Drummer" thing every indie pop band did from 1988-1993 and Loveless came out in 91 I'd hardly give MBV an award for startling originality here.

  3. guitar is cool but man, get off Kevin Shields' dick 1992 shoegaze bands, that is almost an exact replica of the Soon drumbeat. I can bob my head to it but it isn't original is all

  4. This is the second song on the album. The first song is 10 minutes starts off with about 2 minutes of a severely distorted guitar going "HREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".

    Then it gets noisier.

That's the single best opening to an album ever.

  5. @zunaout Yes! Its almost 5 am where I am at right now, but I didn't want to go to sleep before I found the source of the sweet noise that was plaguing my head for most of the day.

  6. @PoetsOfElan I like. To run with your idea, "Aruca" is like "Soon's" punkier precocious niece jumping up and down on the bed and singing into a hair-brush. 😀 I love both of these songs.

  7. @sw1pe That's funny, I remember the first time I heard this song I thought it was made with Soon in mind. It's all in the tambourine…

… as well as the shrieking guitars…
